Mar–a–Lago is the second largest mansion in Florida, and the 20th largest in the USA. During his presidency, Trump referred to it as his Winter White House or Southern White House.
Until recently, Mar–a–Lago was the largest mansion in Florida. It was surpassed (I know you were wondering) by the totally–unpretentiously–named Versailles, which is owned by the property developer David A. Siegel. He founded the Florida–based timeshare resort company Westgate Resorts in 1982, and in July 2021 it had 29 locations across the USA.
This particular Versailles is on a 10–acre site, in a gated community, in a place called Windermere, in Florida's Orange County (county seat: Orlando). Construction began in 2004, but has been suspended at least twice due to financial restrictions; Wikipedia's latest estimate for its completion is "well into 2022". I could tell you how many rooms it has, and what they all are, but I'm concerned that it might make you sick. If you really want to know more, I would refer you to Wikipedia.
